How we handle your information

What we collect

Accounts require the information needed by ASP.NET Core Identity, such as an email address and password hash. Public cost contributions ask for category, amount, month and normalized geography. We do not ask for an owner name, horse name or yard address.

Anonymous contribution identifier

An essential, pseudonymous browser identifier helps detect rapid duplicate submissions and abuse. It is not displayed publicly and is not used for advertising profiles.

How information is used

We use information to operate accounts and Q&A, validate cost reports, publish aggregated statistics, secure the service and measure clearly-labelled advert placements. Raw submissions are never presented as published figures.

Consent-based analytics

Ironmark Insights is available to help us understand visits and improve the service. Its browser tracker is only downloaded after you accept optional analytics. You can change that choice at any time through the Cookie settings button. We do not use analytics consent as a condition of using the site.

Your rights

UK data protection rights may include access, correction, deletion and objection, subject to lawful retention requirements. Contact StableMetric with a request and enough information to locate the relevant account.
